My name is Alain Rolland

I was born and raised in France (Brittany) and have lived in the US for over 30 years. I am a scientist by training (Doctor of Pharmacy, Ph.D.). I love music and painting, which I practice as an amateur, reading and writing historical and adventure novels, scuba diving, hiking and travelling. I am the author of Six Ans d’Absence (Éditions Spinelle, Paris, 2023), a historical novel inspired by my father’s WWII odyssey, and its self-published English adaptation (2024), Six Years of Absence. I am now looking for a literary agent for my second novel, a contemporary thriller.
